BIO
Dreya Garcia is a coloratura soprano celebrated for the warmth of her tone, distinctive timbre, and vivid dramatic presence. Recent operatic engagements include Lucia (Lucia di Lammermoor) in New Jersey with Opera Magnifico (2025) and Gilda (Rigoletto) with MOSF in Catania, Sicily (2022). She holds a B.M. in Vocal Performance from the University of Florida (2020) and currently studies with Carole Farley.
Born in Medellín, Colombia, Garcia began her formal training at the creative arts academy Musicreando, where her early musicianship was shaped through studies in voice, clarinet, oboe, and piano. She was a 2024 Classical Singer Competition semi-finalist (Washington, DC) and has appeared on internationally recognized stages including Carnegie Hall. Garcia performs regularly in recital and concert throughout South Florida, including as soprano soloist with the South Florida Symphony Orchestra (2025), returning March 28, 2026.
