BIO
Dreya Garcia is a Colombian-born, Miami-based soprano known for the warmth of her tone, distinctive timbre, and compelling dramatic presence.
She holds a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Florida and continues her studies with
Carole Farley and Manny Perez.
Her artistic work has brought her to stages including Carnegie Hall in New York City, The Moore in Miami’s Design District, and Art Basel programming in Miami Beach, in addition to international performances in Bolivia, Guatemala, and Colombia. Among her recent operatic credits are Lucia in Lucia di Lammermoor with Opera Magnifico in New Jersey and Gilda in Rigoletto with MOSF in Catania, Sicily. She has also been recognized as a Classical Singer semifinalist and has appeared in distinguished film and studio projects, including Florida Grand Opera’s Vanishing Voices and the feature musical film Mendel’s Messiah.
As an artist dedicated to cultural ambassadorship, Dreya has been honored by Miami’s Colombian Consulate and Colombian American Chamber of Commerce for her contributions to the fine arts and for uplifting Colombian culture abroad.
